FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Here are our most common questions. Anyway if have another question please ask us, we will be happy helping you.
- Is the house rented as a whole house or by rooms?
It is fully rented. Our idea is that the people who rent it enjoy privacy and quietness as if it was their own place.
- How many people can stay there?
8 people staying in:
A room with a double bed (150 cm wide) and a bath with bathtub inside.
A room with a trundle bed (two 90 cm single beds). Bathroom with shower next to this room.
A room with two 120 cm wide beds and a bathroom (with bathtub) inside.
A room with two 105 cm wide single beds.
- How many bathrooms do you have?
Three bathrooms and two toilettes:
Two bathrooms with bathtab (inside two of the bedrooms) on the ground and first floors.
A bathroom with shower on the ground floor.
Two toilets (one on the first floor and one in the basement).
- Do it have heating?
In the coming months we will modernize our facilities, for this reason it is only rented in summer and can NOT be used. For this reason it is not offered in the ad.
- Pets Allowed?
We are animal lovers but, unfortunately and due to the increasing number of people with allergies, we have been forced not to admit them.
- Are parties or events allowed?
They are totally forbidden. They would imply the automatic expulsion of the house without the possibility of any type of refund and the loss of the deposit.
- Is there Wi-Fi?
We do have WI-FI, although the connection is not very fast since there is no company that brings fiber optics to the area.
- What other extras does the house have?
In addition to spectacular views of the Cantabrian Sea and the Picos de Europa, the house has:Washer and dryer.Dishwasher, oven, mixer, Italian coffee maker, toaster.Private garden with barbecue.
Two libraries with books available to guests.
Hair dryer, gel.
Sheets and towels (one set per person and week).
- We can see an elevator in the pictures, can we use it?
We have an elevator but it doesn´t work, that is why it does not appear in the description of the house and it is not advertised, sorry.
- Is there parking?
We do not have private parking in the property but you can park on the street. The area is very quiet so normally there are no problems to park the car in the neighborhood.
- Is it accessible by car to the door?
You can get to the door house by car.
- Is it child friendly?
We have a travel cot, high chair and baby bath, but it is a house with many stairs and nooks and crannies that is not specifically designed for children. We do not have safety rails for young children, we recommend that young children do not walk alone around the house but they can do under the supervision of a responsible adult.
- What time is the check in? And the check out? Can we leave the luggage before even if the entrance is later?
The check out must be before 12:00 in the morning and the check in after 18:00. In that time interval we leave the house ready for the next guests. In case we finish before we would notify you. If you want to leave the luggage before that time, please ask us, there would be no problem.
- Do I have to leave a deposit? How?
Upon arrival, you will have to leave a two-night deposit that we will return to you after reviewing the house once you check out.
The deposit would be retained by charging the credit card with POS.
- Why do you keep a deposit?
We are aware that the continued use of things generates wear and tear and of course we take responsibility, but sometimes some guests have made an inappropriate use of the household goods and they have been broken, deteriorated, etc., to avoid this situations we retain the deposit and if there is any damage due to misuse, it is replaced or repaired with it.
- What is the price of the house per night? If we go less people, would it be cheaper? Is there a minimum number of nights? How can we pay?
The house has a price of 500€ or 450€ per night (peak or general season). It is entire rented, it would be the same price for one or eight people. The minimum number of nights depends on the season: five nights during peak season and four nights during general season.
How to pay:
50% of the total as a down payment at the time of the booking (it is not signed until the deposit is made) by bank transfer. 50% at the time of entry into the house.
- What are the cancellation conditions?
Up to 15 days before the date of entry, the full amount entered will be returned as a down payment when making the reservation.
Between 15 and 7 days before the date of entry, half of the amount entered would be returned as a down payment when making the reservation.
There is no possibility of refund for cancellations made 7 days in advance or less before the check-in date.
- How is the entrance in the house? Is it going to be someone to meet us? Where do we collect the keys? Is there any paperwork to do?
We are a family business and we really believe in one to one relationship, so we like to receive our guests and explain how the house works.
Upon arrival and after showing you how the house works, you have to fill in the "Traveler's Part", required by the Guardia Civil (it is mandatory due to legislation), after you should pay the rest pf the rent and we finally give you a copy of the house rules that you will have to sign (to confirm that you agree with them). Then we leave and the house is all yours until the departure moment.
We do not live in the same town, but of course we have no problem of getting to the house if the situation requires it. You have our contact and we are 24 hours available.
- How can I get there? What can you recommend?
The best way for getting there is the car, so you can move around the area and explore, since we are next to the sea and the mountains.
Another way to get there is by bus. The frequency from big towns is quite good. Write to us and we will inform you.
In case of arriving by plane to the region, the airport is about one hour away, there you could rent a car or get to the town by combination of buses.
- Do you organize any kind of trip or experience?
We only offer accommodation, but we can give you information about the area and also recommend you places to visit and things to do.
