Placed in the fishing village of Lastres, "El Tresmayu" is the perfect spot for discovering the eastern and central parts of Asturias.

The village has two beaches: "El Escanu" in the port and Playa de Lastres, a 10 and 15 minute walk from the house respectively. Strolling through its narrow streets and visiting the fishermen's houses, the Clock Tower, the different chapels or the port may be one of the plans to spend the day. The gastronomic offer is really good with so many bars and restaurants where you can taste local products in a charming place with views of the Cantabrian Sea and the Picos de Europa.

Near Lastres, less than 5 minutes by car, is La Griega Beach, one of the main beaches in the region, where you can see also dinosaur footprints. Another attraction in the area is Luces lighthouse.

If you are more interested in mountains, the closest are the Sueve´s Range, it is famous for its Asturcones horses and the Fito viewpoint (20 minutes away). In this mountains you can also do several routes such as Pico Pienzo or Hayedo de la Biescona. The Sanctuary of Covadonga is 45 minutes away by car and Arenas de Cabrales (Picos de Europa National Park) is one hour away.

As towns and cities of interest nearby you can visit Colunga (5 minutes away); Ribadesella (25 minutes); Llanes (35 minutes); Cangas de Onís (35 minutes); Villaviciosa (15 minutes); Gijón (half an hour) and Oviedo(40 minutes).

Other interesting things you can do is visiting the MUJA (Museum of the Jurassic) 9 minutes away by car; local markets as Cangas de Onís one, or the Tito Bustillo Cave in Ribadesella.

Returning to the beaches and the coast further away, you can go to the beaches of Rodiles (Villaviciosa), La Isla, Playa de Vega (Ribadesella) and the area of ​​Llanes (Torimbia, Cuevas, Gulpiyuri, etc.) stand out, as well as the Bufones de Pría .
